Sébastien Chaffre holds a master’s degree in molecular biology, a master’s in healthcare industry management and an engineering diploma in biotechnology. He has thorough methodological expertise and proven R&D project management experience, informed by leading-edge scientific, technological and business knowledge. He defined and managed the entire neurology research strategy of France’s Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (Inserm) from 2009 to 2011. He then settled in Québec, where he has lent his support to several high-profile technology-transfer organizations including Univalor, Génome Québec, and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). In 2018, as Vice-President of Clinical Operations and Business Strategy for an SME, he designed and supervised the development of an online platform for holistic, personalized remote management of patients with chronic diseases.
