Duc holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and an MBA in Marketing and in Managing SMEs from HEC Montréal. He has spent more than twenty-five years with multinational companies in the fields of petrochemistry, textiles, food, and software. He designed a Supply Chain Management system on a North America scale and led teams in its implementation in more than 50 factories. He then turned to the world of SMEs as Director of Product Integration for computer systems before joining Valeo as Director of Commercialization, which he held for 15 years. His expertise in valorization is varied and includes industrial biotechnology, medical equipment, aerospace technologies, software, electronics, communications infrastructure of computer networks, signal processing, and process equipment. In addition to licensing innovations, he participated in the establishment of several spin-offs, including YD3, 3DSemantix, Noviflow, Miad, and B&B FRP.
