Christophe Guy is Vice-Principal of Research and Graduate Studies at Concordia University and is a strong advocate of technology transfer. In 2017, Dr. Guy was awarded the Armand-Frappier Award by les Prix du Québec, the highest distinction awarded annually by the Quebec government in culture and science. He is a member of the Order of Canada and officer of the Ordre national du Québec. From 2007 to 2017, Dr. Guy held the position of Executive Director of the École Polytechnique de Montréal, after having held the position of Director of Research and Innovation at the same institution (2001-2007). As a research professor and expert in the field of environment, Christophe Guy is the author of more than one hundred scientific papers and eight patents. Active within Montréal’s greatest industrial groups, Dr. Guy has, over the last few years, developed and maintained productive relationships with the industry.
