Technical and Commercial Evaluation
ALIGO evaluates the commercial potential of inventions and innovations. ALIGO gets involved with every stage of promoting an invention, from the invention disclosure, right through to bringing the product to market.

Determining Commercial Potential
The evaluation process entails bringing together people involved in the target market who can use their real substantive experience and knowledge to tangibly validate the commercial potential of the invention.
ALIGO makes the decision whether or not to market an invention based on its commercial potential and whether the research team is interested in marketing the invention.
Taking Charge and Creating a Promotional Plan
Each week, the ALIGO team evaluates new academic research findings, and participates in the elaboration and execution of marketing and investment strategies. ALIGO actively collaborates with other stakeholders in the ecosystem in order to grow as a company and to ensure it has the right tools to make the best decisions.
Inventions are evaluated confidentially based on the analysis of strict criteria, including:
- the technology and its patentability;
- the clarity of the chain of titles (inventorship and ownership);
- the current state of the target market;
- competitive advantages;
