Génie en affaires – ACFAS

The Génies en Affaires (Engineers in Business) competition gives students the chance to access mentoring services from engineering and research enhancement experts to implement a groundbreaking idea via a business plan. The competition enables finalists to present groundbreaking technology projects to the public and to promote their qualities and their ability to change society. Each year, ALIGO mentors ambitious and determined students through this competition.

Effervescence Symposium

ALIGO participates in the Effervescence collective, a group of 14 partners working together to develop a major life sciences event. Effervescence is an opportunity for researchers, companies, and stakeholders in the life sciences sector to come together in a stimulating atmosphere to network, build business relationships, attend inspiring conferences, and discover what’s new in the industry.

Montreal Summit on Innovation (MSI)

The Quartier de l’Innovation (QI), the Fonds de Recherche du Québec (FRQ) and ALIGO Innovation are joining forces to present the 8th annual Montreal Summit on Innovation (MSI), which runs concurrently with C2 Montréal, the biggest commerce and creativity event of the year. This year’s theme—the research of tomorrow, today—promises to explore strategies to help maximize the vital support for sciences, so that both private and public stakeholders and the general public can profit from research findings to better understand the challenges of society and innovation, so that we can better respond to the challenges of tomorrow.

Symposium: The Importance of Enhancing and Marketing Academic Research Findings

As part of the ACFAS’s 2019 Convention, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and ALIGO are joining forces to present a symposium titled “the importance and impact of enhancing and marketing academic research findings.”
